Eámonn Wrightstone is a 22-year-old director based in NYC. With a start in social justice work and community organizing, he began to transition into filmmaking with the purpose of telling stories with “taboo," queer, family, socio-economic, and mental health-related topics. Eámonn strives to uplift underrepresented voices/communities behind and in front of the camera.
At this point in his career, he has directed 4 short films and has extensive experience and training working with actors mentoring under Katherine Lindberg during his time at NYU studying Film and Television Production Studies. He is currently in pre-production on his next short film and directing a new off-off-broadway play this Summer 2023.
When he's not directing Eámonn freelances as a First Assistant Camera and is a Director of Photography from time to time.
